Ahoy, fellow sailors: we are the sailwithus team and we tell it like it is! Here on our blog you can openly “stalk” us and see what’s really going on. Most articles are written by our fellow sailors and give you a great impression in the style of a travel report. You’ll also find plenty of useful first-hand tips, like 30 packing hacks for your trip or tricks to say goodbye to sunburn.

Did you know that the average sailwithus skipper is 1.73 meters tall, weighs 70 kilos, has brown hair and a pretty good sense for things? Get to know some of our skippers! All of them are passionate sailors, speak German, and love spending a dream trip with you on a sailing yacht. They also want to escape everyday life a bit – back home, most of our skippers work regular jobs. Now they’re heading out on an adventure with you and bringing you closer to the world of sailing.
How do you fit swu into one picture?
First of all, hello – sailwithus, or swu for short – that’s Claudia, Sergio, Peter, Tobi and Carl, also known as “Calle”. We all love the sea and sailing and know our way around the most beautiful sailing areas in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. We’re happy to support you in finding the right sailing trip. After all, you definitely want to spend your holiday somewhere warm and sunny. Your sailwithus vacation expert team is by your side as a partner with individual solutions – just the way you want it.
Skipper Dreamjob
You want to spend as much time on the water as possible and introduce sailing to young people? You love being out on a yacht as a skipper: feeling summer, sunshine and pure zest for life. You’re wondering where the job for that is? Right here! All you need to get started is a sailing license and ideally some practical experience as a skipper – for example from berth charter trips. If you don’t have much experience yet, you’ll receive dedicated skipper training. You’re motivated, committed, well-organized, and your good vibes are infectious for your crew.
