Possible Sailing Itinerary: Discover Your Sailing Adventure!

Start of the Sailing Trip
It’s ideal if you arrive at your destination airport by Friday or Saturday noon at the latest. You should be at the harbor on Saturday between 2 pm and 4 pm. Saturday is dedicated to organizing your trip. Arrive comfortably, settle in, and receive a safety briefing from your skipper. Afterwards, approximately four people per yacht go grocery shopping for the week. Feel free to add your preferences to the sailwithus shopping list. It’s quite the experience exploring the supermarket aisles and blocking checkout lanes with six or more shopping carts!
Check-in on the yacht begins after 5 pm.
Typically, the yacht departs on Sunday! Yacht check-in usually happens after 5 p.m. Most yachts set sail on Sunday! In der Regel legt die Yacht am Sonntag ab!

Catering on Board
Everything is packed away on the yacht, and then you head out for dinner together. Sailwithus has reserved tables for the whole crew in a local restaurant. Before departure, your skipper will give you a yacht briefing – including pantry, lines, and sails. The following days unfold in a relaxed rhythm. The routine: have a relaxed breakfast on board, set off, sail toward the day’s destination, lunch snack with a swim stop – and that’s it. In the afternoon, you arrive at the next stop. As you can see: plenty of time to swim, read, nap, or explore a little town before cooking or heading to a restaurant.

Sailing Routes
You’ll find route suggestions on our destination pages – from Greece to Croatia and the Caribbean. Skippers coordinate and usually suggest two to three individual routes. Colorful harbor, secluded bay, or a stopover with a swim? You decide as a crew. Your daily destination depends on the wind – and on you.

Evening Activities
As we’ve said: sailing with sailwithus is a personalized holiday where you can help shape the experience. Evenings are usually spontaneous and based on your group’s mood and interests. If you’re up for partying, you’ll definitely find some like-minded crewmates. If you prefer to end the evening under the stars in a hammock on deck, you’ll gather a following for that too. Either way: every day is unique!

Sailing in the Mediterranean and Overseas
Your travel bag is packed again as you sail back to the starting marina, arriving between 3 and 6 p.m.

End of the Sailing Trip
On Saturday, you’ll leave the yacht by 9 a.m. Typically, you’ll arrive at the home port on Friday afternoon, where the skipper handles the official handover with the charter company (takes about 30–60 minutes per yacht). You only need to leave the yacht “broom clean” – full cleaning is included in the price. On Saturday morning after breakfast, you disembark as scheduled.
