What our customers say
Sailing Turkey – discover breathtaking nature on a sailing vacation
Your sailing adventure in Turkey begins in the port city of Fethiye. The coastal town is an ideal starting point for your sailing vacation, especially due to its unique location. You can enter Turkey almost exclusively by plane. Fly to Dalaman to have the shortest possible route to the starting port. Your starting point is located in a wonderfully sheltered bay and will set you up perfectly for your upcoming trip.

Perfect location for a unique sailing vacation in Turkey!
One particular advantage is that Fethiye offers numerous options for sailing in Turkey. From here, you can easily sail eastwards along the Turkish Aegean and pass by one or two Greek islands along the way. Or you can choose the westward route and explore Turkey’s Mediterranean coast towards Antalya. However, don’t forget to visit the sights in the city of your starting port. The historic rock tombs above the old town are particularly worth a visit.
Discover the Turkish Aegean
As a sailing area, the Aegean Sea in Turkey offers a wonderful spot for an exciting and varied time. Don’t miss the city of Bodrum on your sailing trip. The small town on the peninsula of the same name fascinates its visitors with a very long and untouched coastline, into which many unique bays are repeatedly integrated. Drop anchor at a harbor and enjoy both the white limestone facades and the beautifully blooming purple triplet flowers.

Mysterious places while sailing in Turkey
When sailing in Turkey, you should also make a detour to the so-called blue lagoon in Ölüdeniz. The crowds are sometimes so big that you have to reserve a place in advance. But don’t worry, the area is definitely not overcrowded. Enjoy the picturesque cliffs and jump into the turquoise crystal water.
Beautiful bays and beaches as far as the eye can see
Whether Ölüdeniz, Olympos Beach or Cleopatra Beach. Hardly anywhere else in the world will you find so many different bays and beaches in such a small area on a sailing trip as on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. All fascinating, unique and yet special in their own way. For a very special Caribbean feeling, you don’t have to sit on a plane for ages. White sandy beaches bordering sparkling turquoise waters can also be found here.

The contrasting landscape of the Turkish coast
Don’t miss the trio of ports of Orhaniye, Marmaris and Göcek. This is an absolute must for many sailing fans on a sailing trip. Here you will experience an impressive variety of relaxation on the beach and action on the water. No matter what type of sailor you are, you’ll find something here. No two harbors are the same and you will be surprised anew every time.
A vacation full of variety
The Turkish coast is an area of diversity and far from being as monotonous as you might think at first glance. In one place you will find one of the many unparalleled bays with untouched nature and crystal clear water. Adjacent to these are beautiful beaches and hidden harbors from which you can occasionally visit uninhabited islands. Wherever you look, you will find the lush vegetation of the Turkish coastal landscape, which can be admired both from land and from the yacht on the water.

Exceptional sights
In contrast to this is the area of the Turkish Mediterranean coast, which is steeped in history. Not only history buffs will get their money’s worth here. The area also offers numerous sights that are a real eye-catcher for everyone. Whether Troy, Pergamon or Ephesus, here you will find well-preserved ancient cities that shaped the lives of all our ancestors. A visit to these ruins is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories. No other region, outside of Rome and Greece, comes close to this relevance and frequency of ancient sights.
Discover the national cuisine on your sailing trip in Turkey
Trying Turkish cuisine is an absolute must when traveling to Turkey. The country’s culinary diversity is truly endless. The local specialties cannot be compared with the copies that exist in Germany. In addition to the well-known main dishes such as Dürüm, Kebap or Lahmacun, delicious starters, which are otherwise known here as meze and include spicy dipping sauces, are part of a successful meal. Dessert is also a must. Honey-sweet baklava and evening wine are recommended here.
