Meine Freundin und ich hatten eine fantastische Woche beim Youngline Törn in Dalmatien! Die Organisation lief von vorne bis hinten reibungslos. Ein besonderes Lob ist unserem Skipper Niklas auszusprechen. Er ist jedem unserer Wünsche und Vorstellungen nachgekommen und sorgte für gute Laune! Außerdem blieb er in jeder Situation ruhig und gab klare Anweisungen, was uns allen ein großes Gefühl der Sicherheit gab. Wer mehr über Segeln erfahren wollte, erklärte er alles mit einer Engelsgeduld. Zudem stellte er uns, trotz schwieriger Wetterbedingungen, eine fantastische Route zusammen!
Ein Trip mit Sailwithus ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Der Segeltörn mit Skipper André in den Kykladen war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Wir hatten ordentlich Wind, konnten viel segeln und lagen in traumhaften Buchten. André war ein großartiger Skipper: herzlich, kompetent und nie um einen Spruch verlegen. Besonders in Erinnerung bleibt uns auch sein fantastisches Rührei am Morgen. Die Crew war einfach top, wir hatten eine super Stimmung an Bord 🙂

Ich hatte eine unvergessliche Woche in Griechenland (Peloponnes). Tolle Segelyacht, wunderschönes Segelrevier, die geilsten Crew die man sich nur wünschen konnte und den besten Skipper Alex. Der Urlaub hätte nicht schöner sein können.

The Seychelles are so beautiful

Are you already familiar with the Seychelles? Probably not. You may have heard the name before, but you don’t know exactly where they are and what unique treasures they hold. For this reason, you are probably also unaware that this jewel is one of the most breathtaking and popular destinations for sailing adventures. The archipelago stretches about 1,000 kilometers north of Madagascar, nestled in the endless Indian Ocean.

As is usual for an island in the middle of the ocean, you can enter the Seychelles by plane. You land at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on the island of Mahé. The main island of the Seychelles is not particularly large, which is why you can easily reach everything here by car. From the airport, you make your way directly to the departure port. From here, you will set sail on your unforgettable sailing trip. Eden Island Marina is a wonderfully located starting point on the eastern part of the coast. If you have some time to spare, you can visit the nearby capital Victoria. Otherwise, the island of Mahé will get you in the perfect mood for your upcoming sailing trip in the Seychelles and you will get a feel for what to expect in the coming days.

If you decide to travel to the Seychelles, you can definitely prepare yourself for a unique experience. Despite its comparatively small area, the archipelago offers impressive diversity and numerous facets without being overrun by tourism and harbors. A sailing trip in the Seychelles is ideal for discovering these facets. Here you will get to know the island world of the Indian Ocean from a particularly individual perspective.

Different cultures

Of the many islands you will see on your Seychelles trip, only eight are inhabited all year round. A total of around 90,000 people live on these islands. Within this population, you will find inhabitants from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. The countries of origin France, Africa, India, Great Britain, China and the Arab countries make up a particularly large proportion. The official languages are Creole, English and French, which is why you can get very far here with a good knowledge of English.

Enchanting nature and wildlife combined with an exceptional climate

The breathtaking natural and animal world offers a similarly exciting spectacle to the multicultural life on the archipelago. Hardly anywhere else in the world can you experience such an untouched part of nature up close. You can fully immerse yourself in this natural wonder and enjoy it to the full. During your sailing trip, you will have the chance to see flamingos, squirrels, nectar birds, palm thieves and giant tortoises. You will also have the opportunity to observe underwater life in detail during a dive. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of blacktip sharks, dolphins, rare manatees and sponge corals.

Breathtaking nature

But it’s not just unique animals that you can observe in the Seychelles. The flora and natural world also has a lot to offer. Truly unique vegetation covers large parts of the archipelago. Enormously dense mangrove forests peppered with carnivorous plants with shiny leaves and vase-shaped wine-red stems. In addition, there are the absolute dream beaches that you otherwise only know from television.

Snow-white beaches with granite rocks and coconut palms are just part of the natural spectacle. Your sailing vacation offers an unmistakable mix of calm seas and paradisiacal beach landscapes.

You are traveling with like-minded people because you have one thing in common: the dream vacation on a sailing yacht in the Mediterranean. Your crew is young and a colorful mix of absolute beginners and experienced sailors. For you, the most important thing is simple planning and preparation:

On sailwithus sailing trips you are always traveling sustainably. We encourage our fellow sailors to do a beach clean up once on every trip so that we can do our bit to preserve the beautiful areas in which we sail.   • Meeting point on Saturdays 2-4 p.m. – return Friday late afternoon to the port of departure – departure on Saturdays 9 a.m.
  • You book a “friendly” skipper free of charge. They offer safety for sailing beginners thanks to their sailing training.
  • Before the start, you will do the shopping together so that food is provided on board. The kitchen on the yacht is also well equipped.
  • Every sailing trip is well prepared. Spontaneous excursions and side trips are still possible at any time. The crew decides together what they feel like doing, depending on the wind and weather.

What is not included?

  • Cash on board for additional costs on site – food, diesel, national parks, port fees etc. (200€-300€ per person)
  • Catering for the skipper (paid from the on-board cash box)
